I've always enjoyed the creation process. The act of molding something out of ideas in my head or designs on paper, the problem solving and applied mathematics, the warmth of the wood and softness of the finish, was always so much more rewarding to me than enjoying the finished product itself. So naturally I began to gravitate toward building things for friends and family, and that is how The Wooden Lamb came about.

Each project is unique, and while it may be inspired by a photograph or a previous project, it will be uniquely yours. I will work with you to select appropriate wood species, hardware, and final finish according to not only your desired result but also its intended use. I source my hardware from artisans and blacksmiths around the world. I craft each piece as if it were my own. If I'm not happy with it, then I know you won't be either.

I love to incorporate something personal to you in the work, whether it is images from cookie tins, a greeting card, a door knob from your grandparent's house, or maybe barn wood from the family farm. I can think of no better way to breathe new life into and create a new story around such artifacts.

I'm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and can easily arrange meetings and project delivery in the surrounding areas. I can also arrange shipping to your location. Each project is separately estimated based on time, materials and shipping (if applicable). The estimate will not change once you agree to it, and all of my work is guaranteed.
